For social media managers and creative agency owners

Client context that carries through.

You're pasting the brand brief into AI again. The caption is in one tab, the design is in another, and the client approved a version that's since changed. Forthquill puts each client's brand, drafts, Canva designs, approvals and results in one workspace.

Browser first, and it works on your phone. One login runs up to 10 client workspaces, each with its own brand voice.

The Today view in Forthquill: draft cards for Threads, Instagram Post, Instagram Story and LinkedIn, each with a goal and a Canva-ready visual.
The Today view, with a draft for each channel.

What's breaking

Client work scatters.

Brand notes live in a doc. Designs live in Canva. The plan is in a calendar and the decisions are in a thread. Four things go wrong over and over.

Re-briefing

You explain the same brand to AI at the start of every draft.

Handoffs

Nobody's sure who owns the next step, so you ask.

Versions

The client approves a version that has changed since.

Reporting

Results turn into their own project.

Forthquill keeps the context attached to the work, so the next step is always visible.

How it works

From idea to scheduled, with the context attached.

  1. Set up the client workspace.Fill in the brand questionnaire and add the documents. You do it once.
  2. Capture the idea.Yours or a reference. Draft the copy with AI, working from the brand's own words.
  3. Make the visual in Canva. You design where you already design.
  4. Assign and review.Every saved post has an owner and a stage.
  5. Get client approval. When it's required. The approval covers that saved version.
  6. Schedule it, or set a reminder to post by hand.Nothing schedules until you confirm it.
  7. Read the results and reuse what worked.Send the strong posts back to the Lab.

Features

One workspace for the whole content cycle.

Every post moves through the same seven stages, so you can always see where it is.

  1. Idea / draft
  2. In progress
  3. Pending approval
  4. Review / revisions
  5. Approved / ready
  6. Scheduled
  7. Live / posted

Ready to post doesn't mean scheduled. Publishing states come from the real queue and receipts.

Brand context

Each client keeps their own voice.

Client workspaces
Up to 10, each with its own brand information, content, media and social connections. Every workspace has 1 owner, up to 3 teammates and 1 client reviewer.
Brand and AI setup
A questionnaire plus private documents cover the business, audience, offers, voice and approved next steps. Write the brief once. Every draft starts from it.
Vault and media
Ideas, notes, links, photos and supported documents go in one place. Finished graphics and linked Canva designs stay attached to their posts.
The Vault: tabs for ideas and notes, photos and saved posts, with a card inviting you to save an idea.

The Vault. Private to the workspace.

Create

Start from a real idea.

Today dashboard
Shows the day's work and drafts any social copy that's missing, using your brand context. It never overwrites a post you already have.
The Lab
Start from an idea, repurpose something you've already written, or remix a reference with up to three screenshots. The draft is adapted to the client's business and the goal you pick. Then you edit it. You approve it.
Canva and approved photos
Link designs and import the finished graphic. With an eligible Canva plan, Autofill drops the drafted copy and your own photos into layouts you've approved. See the Canva workflow
The Lab: a field for an idea or reference post, screenshot upload, channel and goal selectors, and a button to draft your social copy.

The Lab. Paste an idea, add up to three screenshots, pick a channel and a goal.

Organize and plan

Everyone can see who owns the next step.

Projects and tasks
Campaigns with briefs and dates. Content boards, content tables and task boards. Assign posts and tasks, and set deadlines on tasks.
Tags and hashtag groups
Name your own campaign and topic tags. Filter by project, channel, assignee, stage, tag or search. Insert saved hashtag sets.
Calendar and reminders
Plan dates and times. Drag a post to a new day and it keeps its time. Scheduling is its own step. Manual-post reminders land in an in-app inbox, with optional browser notifications.
Archive and restore
Archive posts, projects and tasks in the Vault and restore them later. Restoring never quietly puts a post back in the publishing queue.
The Planner: a monthly calendar where you drag a post to move its planned date.

The Planner. Drag a post to move its planned date.

Review and learn

Client feedback without another login.

Client review
Send a review link that works without a login for 72 hours. Your reviewer can view, comment, request changes or approve. They can't create or edit content.
Team discussion and history
Team comments are private and separate from client feedback. Activity shows who changed what, and when, inside Forthquill. Edits made in Canva don't show who made them.
Request client assets
Create a private upload request for your client reviewer. JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF, DOCX and TXT files, up to 10 MB each. They never see your workspace library.
Insights and history
Import supported native metrics, save dated snapshots and see the history in charts. Benchmark your strong posts and send them back to the Lab. Charts don't touch your AI usage.
Reports and AI analysis
Saved reports carry your agency name, logo, accent color and footer, and you choose when a client sees one. AI reads the report's evidence and tells you what worked, what needs work and what to test next.
Insights: native analytics for Threads and Instagram, a results table with views, reach, likes and replies, and options to import a CSV or find benchmark winners.

Insights. Native metrics, imports and benchmark winners.

Approval protection

An approval belongs to one saved version.

The client approves what they reviewed. If you edit the post, it needs approval again. Nobody publishes something that changed after sign-off.

Clients can raise the bar. They can require stronger approval, withdraw it when they leave feedback and set a supported expiry period. Publishing stays its own step.

The Canva workflow

Canva stays where design happens.

Forthquill doesn't make artwork. It connects the writing to the design work you already do in Canva.

  1. Connect Canva to the client workspace. Each client workspace has its own connection.
  2. Approve your layouts.Pick single-page designs with labeled Autofill fields, one per channel.
  3. Choose the photos AI can use.It only sees the ones you approve.
  4. Autofill fills the layout.Drafted copy and one approved photo go in. Eligible Autofill needs a paid Canva plan.
  5. Edit in Canva, then bring the PNG back.Fonts, colors and layout stay yours. The finished graphic returns to the post.

Sizes the workspace expects

Instagram portrait1080 × 1350
Story, Reel and Reel cover1080 × 1920
Safe area for key textCentered 1080 × 1080

Reel covers also show a 3:4 grid crop, so check that area before you export. Canva is billed separately from Forthquill.

The Canva page: approve channel layouts, choose a brand photo collection, connect Canva and attach an existing design link.

Layouts, photos and the Canva connection live on one page per workspace.

Integrations

Eight networks. One publishing queue.

Connect each client's accounts to their own workspace. Posts go out from the same place you drafted, designed and approved them.

The publishing room: connection cards for Threads and Instagram, each with a connect button.

The publishing room. Connections belong to the client workspace.

Text only, or a single image with text.

Native analytics included.

LinkedIn

Text, a single image, or a PDF document carousel, for profiles and eligible company Pages.

Facebook Pages

Text, image, image carousel and video.

Canva

Autofill needs an eligible paid Canva plan.

Scheduling is explicit.

Nothing queues until you confirm it. Queued jobs run with your browser closed. Manual-post reminders keep hand-posted content on the calendar.

Previews are close, not exact.

You'll see caption limits and image, carousel, Canva video and PDF previews. Each network's own controls, crops and wrapping can still differ.

Analytics vary by network.

Metrics depend on the platform and the permissions you grant. Refreshes are periodic, not real time, and some counts can include promoted activity.

AI

AI that works from the brand's own words.

AI is support inside the workflow. It adapts copy from human-written brand documents, ideas, writing samples, voice and tone. You direct the work, edit the draft and approve it.

AI helps with

  • Drafting the social copy that's missing for the day
  • Remixing a reference or screenshots into the client's voice
  • Fitting copy into your approved Canva layouts
  • Explaining what worked in a report

You decide

  • The idea and the creative direction
  • Every edit to the draft
  • The design, made in Canva
  • Client approval
  • When, and whether, to publish

Forthquill doesn't make artwork.

Private documents panel: every enabled document is included in your AI request, and only the workspace owner and teammates can access it. Word, text and markdown files are accepted.

Brand documents stay private to the workspace. Every enabled document goes into AI requests for that client.

Use your own key

Studio runs on an OpenAI or Claude API key. You pay that provider directly for usage.

Or use included Claude usage

Agency and Scale include a monthly Claude allowance, shared across your workspaces and authorized teammates. See the plans

What gets sent

Each AI request sends the selected workspace's context and any references you add to the provider you picked. ChatGPT and Claude chat subscriptions don't cover API usage.

Forthquill

Stop re-explaining the brand.

Pick a plan, set up your first client and write the brief once. Every draft after that starts from it.
